On campus, Michael G. sends, "UC Davis teaches another useless course. But at least this one they are charging what it's worth."

Speaking of soul-crushing debt....

...Don't Go to College, where the professors expect you to start a race war for them.

Do they really want racial backlash? Because that's how you get racial backlash.

Hey remember when anyone who objected to unisex bathrooms was labeled "sexist"?

And how anyone who objects to illegal immigration is "racist"?

And how anyone who said incremental infringements were a slippery slope was called "paranoid"?

  • Hey remember when "smart guns" were intended to be used by police to protect them from people who took their guns away? Funny how they're being mandated for everyone but police now....
  • The "laws" are wrong. To enforce them is evil.

Hey, what if Trump really is draining the swamp? “Morale has never been lower,” president of the National Treasury Employees Union Tony Reardon told the Post. “Government is making itself a lot less attractive as an employer.” YOU SAY THAT LIKE IT'S A BAD THING.

By which I mean MASSIVE VOTE FRAUD and staggering ignorance.

To which dot connect YouTube double standards.

To which dot connect, yeah, there really is a conspiracy to frame President Donald Trump for crimes he did not commit.

    Aaaaaand Quisling Fudds.

'“...[C]ommon sense gun safety law proponents” would rather see their countrymen murdered by the scores than armed.'

In Ayn Rand's novel Atlas Shrugged - which I have actually read - the government issued Directive 10-289, forcing businesses to remain in operation and prohibiting companies from leaving economic death-spiral states for less-insane ones. But that was just a story... RIGHT?

  • Unstable freaks in black robes, and the ignorant, bigoted children who put words in their mouths.
  • Violent sociopaths in government costumes. What if police really are the bad guys? We're not the ones who changed.
  • And how are we to tell the difference between one costumed sociopath and another? Wouldn't it be reasonable and logical to presume they are ALL hostile?
  • What "law" would you not enforce?
  • "Protect and Serve" WHO?

"...Trump... ran what was, in essence, the only successful third-party candidacy in the long history of our Republic since, perhaps, Lincoln." We know he's not perfect. We're also pretty sure he's not evil. I'll vote for him again in 2020. ...If we both haven't been murdered by then....

Michael G. sends: "National Review discovers you don't need to give up 4th amendment for safety. NYC crime is down at the same time 'Stop and Frisk' was ended. NR admits the evidence proves they were wrong." Now if we can only get the news through the steroid-addled skulls of the costumed sociopaths doing the kidnapping-and-assaulting.... (Codrea has perspective.)

Constitutional Carry action in Indiana. (Crappy editing in the article, sigh, illiterate retards running the newspapers....)

Antifa or Islam? What's the difference?

Hey remember how leftists are such great supporters and defenders of women?

Just last month I was commenting on the divide between urban and rural populations and cultures. Michael G. sends more about this horrible place.

I hate this place so much....

The latte-sipping elitists really don't see us as human beings. When one of us objects to their decrees, it's like a piece of furniture grew fangs.

  • But remember, peasant, only police can be trusted with guns. Because they have all that training.
  • Any cop who tries to not be a murderous sociopath is driven out and destroyed.
  • Dial 911 and work within their system.

Government-run "health" "care"! What could possibly go wrong?

Protecting wildlife from human encroachment! What could possibly go wrong?

Lowering standards to guarantee equality of outcome! WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG?

"How can you claim to represent women's rights when you're genuflecting to a symbol of oppression for women across an entire continent?"

And how can you claim to represent "the people" when you hate most of them for the color of their skin?

Years ago I made this meme. Michael G. now sends: "Believers in 'science' set out to demonstrate evolution in action. Although when it does bite them in the ass, no doubt they will blame it on us who pay attention to the facts and either use treated water, or treat it ourselves. Just like when they got e-coli from their manure fertilized 'organic' spinach it was somehow the fault of us who chose 'non-organic' chemically fertilized spinach."

They say "California could secede" like it's a bad thing. Note the mention of the State of Jefferson. A member of that movement often shows up in the Sunday chatroom.

Considering only a couple of these mass shootings haven't occurred in places where the government has made the victims defenseless for the monsters' convenience, here's an idea whose time has come: “If you create a pretend gun-free zone, you’re liable for any harm it causes.”

It's been said that the greatest pleasure in life
is rolling over and going back to sleep.
Unless you can't sleep anyway because
you're probably out of work again
"Cutting down hours for temps", I was told.
Not that I was happy or excited about parking cars
in the rain and the dark AND THE WIND for minimum wage,
from six in the morning until ten or eleven at night....

"Treason against the United States shall consist only in levying War against them,
or in adhering to their Enemies,
    giving them Aid and Comfort."

If you've been reading this journal for any length of time, you'll have learned that I'm an absolutist on the preexisting natural human right to keep and bear arms. So is Herschel Smith, who observes that some people supposedly on our side aren't.

Michael G. sends "Global" "Warming" and Trump Derangement Syndrome.

    See also "Green" "Energy".

And without the sarcastic quote marks: Discrimination.

Just the other day I was saying, and far from the first time, how they don't see us as human. Now Michael G. observes, "'You're not human if you can't communicate. I'm listening to this and thinking that when we try to communicate with them they do the lalala can't hear you routine, then say we have the failure to communicate. So I guess they really mean if we are physically unable to stop them from killing us then we aren't human and they are entitled, even obligated, to kill us."

Don't Go to College, which are Jew-hating dictatorships.

And where freedom of thought is viewed as evil.

    But they call us "Nazis".

    Professional slanderers.

    And psychotic liars.

Linux is looking better all the time....

The entertainment industry continues to self-destruct. Another thing - "whitewashing" is the use of caucasian actors to portray non-white characters. More of the opposite is happening, casting "actors of color" in the director's own dirty words primarily for the sake of their skin color. And they really believe they're "fighting racism" by engaging in actual blatant racism.

  • It's still not Republican NRA members responsible for all that violent crime. No matter how many lies are told to the contrary.
  • But remember, peasant, only police can be trusted with guns.
  • Which segues to, someone really can get away with murder - with a gun "stolen" from a government agent - depending on the color of their skin.
  • Another round of enemy action in Virginia, including: 'Making open carriers subject to extra scrutiny by police using the low and nebulous standard of "under the influence" if the police suspect the gun owner of having consumed even the tiniest amount of alcohol. A person with a low-alcohol level driving a vehicle would be considered to be OK, as courts tend to use a standard of "too impaired to drive safely," while an open carrier could be charged, as the proposed law requires no proof that the person was actually impaired in any way. "Under the influence" is such a vague standard that any change whatsoever, from glassy eyes (to which some people are genetically disposed) to flushed skin or sweating, could be enough for you to be considered "under the influence!"'
  • To which dot connect, remember how the National Socialists used doctors as agents of the state? This is America and we have a system we can trust and that could never happen here... RIGHT?
  • Why should we ever believe anything the police tell us?
  • Connect these dots: A couple summers ago was a cop committing assault with a deadly weapon against a seven-year-old girl. There have been several other comparable instances of domestic terrorism. Another year back was a cop actually shooting a four-year-old-girl while trying to murder the family dog. Before that was a cop murdering a woman while trying to murder her dog. Later that year was a cop shooting the mother of a murder victim while also trying to murder the family dog. Way back in 2010 was a cop getting away with murdering a seven-year-old girl. Now Desert Hermit Joel finds THE SAME CURSED THING ALL OVER AGAIN. What if police are the greater evil?
  • What "law" would you sadistic costumed sociopaths not laughingly enforce?
  • What order would you not obey?
  • "...[T]he woman who defended herself was taken into custody." "PROTECT AND SERVE" WHO?

Hm, a bit of anti-prohibition sense in Pennsylvania. Consider the alternative, and think about the kind of costumed sociopaths who unquestioningly enforce such "laws".

It's still not Republican NRA members causing all that violent crime and taking away OUR guns won't stop it. It could be an opportunity though....

Speaking of disconnects from reality, way back here I was already observing how the ivory-tower beltway elitists were sociopaths who cannot recognize us as human beings. Michael G. now sends: "HuffPo asks 'Why Black Americans own guns?' And then assert Americans want to keep Blacks unarmed. Start from stupid premises, ask stupid questions."

"Sorry, Venkman, I'm terrified indoctrinated beyond the capacity for rational thought."

From Michael G.: "Finally, I asked the question that burned in my mind: Why, if they hated the US so much, did they not they go back to their beloved home country? What if all their expenses were covered, such as plane tickets to their native land? Instead of the earlier lengthy explanations, the general response was evasive. Some even remained perfectly silent or refused to answer." All those handouts for them, while we work until we die, to pay the taxes they live on.

But tell me again how they contribute to society....

  • ...And then tell me why they're being protected by the people who are supposed to be protecting us from them....
  • ...Which are the people we really need protection from.
  • I can't quite call this Lighter News because in a sane society there wouldn't be eleven thousand dollars of attorney's fees to pay back for malicious use of the openly-biased system. “Felarca and her fellow travelers in BAMN [By Any Means Necessary]/Antifa need to learn that the California courts are not their personal plaything to use and abuse at will by filing baseless and vexatious lawsuits” but that IS how their system works.

Since the original dispute erupted during the term of the previous Oberlin president, a settlement could be written off as cleaning up someone else’s prior mess. But there are some glorious nuggets of insanity buried in this article such as:
“European Commission chief Jean-Claude Juncker says he believes Brexit will happen and the EU should tackle its looming budget shortfall. ‘Don't believe those who say that it's not going to happen and that people in the UK have realised their error... I don't think that's going to be the case,’ he told a Brussels conference.” Because anyone who wants out of the socialist paradise of the EU must be crazy.
“Budget Commissioner Günther Oettinger said the budget gap would have to be closed with 50% spending cuts and 50% fresh money. He suggested a Europe-wide tax on plastic products as a source of extra revenue.” So, to fill the gap, new taxes for everyone!
“1% - Size of the EU budget as a proportion of the European economy; Mr Juncker wants it to go up” The EU bureaucracy sucks up 1% of the European economy, and that’s not enough for them?
"Europe is sinking into a pit of self-made ruin and there are those here who look at it and say “we should be just like them!” Madness.
"By the by, I recently traveled overseas to visit family, and I stopped in London, for the first time in about 12 years. I remember the first time I went, well over 20 years ago, and the level of decay on the streets is just awful. It used to be a relatively tidy city, especially around the tourist traps like the British Museum, but it was just a mess. It’s a real disgrace."

Then, "Don't throw me in that briar patch! Democrats say if they don't get their amnesty they will shut the government down. IF we can get the Republicans to show some spine, I would call that a win/win situation."

He then sends a potential food-storage tip: "I used a pair of 'Hot Hands' warmers for about an hour, and in order to preserve them for further use I put them in a small button top jar. Later I saw that the jar lid had sealed itself with the button down. Obviously, as the 'Hot Hands' used up the oxygen remaining in the jar it had reduced the pressure, causing the jar to seal. This gives me an idea for food storage. Storing flour, or other grains, you want to keep it away from humidity and oxygen, to prevent mold and meal worms. So put it into a container that can be sealed air tight, and then on top of the flour before you seal the container place a plastic lid upside down and on the lid place a desiccant pack and a 'Hot Hand'. The desiccant will absorb any humidity and the 'Hot Hand' will absorb any oxygen, causing the container to seal. And when it is time to reopen the container the 'Hot Hand' should still have several hours of use left in it."

    Hey quick what's Google's motto?

I keep telling you, they really do hate us for the color of our skin.

THERE'S NOTHING HOLDING IT UP except a few guys parking cars in the rain for minimum wage.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe TV series The Gifted, mutants are being hunted by the government and the would-be successors to the X-Men are running an underground railroad to protect them. The parallel to immigration is typically heavy-handed. Some of the "refugees" turn out to be brainwashed timebombs, reporting or turning on the people trying to help them. After one such attack one of the characters says, "We can't turn away desperate people just because some of them might be dangerous." And I yelled at the screen, YES WE CAN, BECAUSE SANE PEOPLE DO EXACTLY THAT. But it appears there aren't any sane people anymore....

Sooooo, the people openly calling for the suppression of free speech and using actual violence to silence debate "are the true defenders of free speech and open debate". And they wonder why the sane people keep buying more guns.

Because, as I keep saying, they really do hate us and want us to die.

"This doesn't explain why the elite don't vacation in Haiti and Cape Town."

Enemy action in Virginia, Monday. If you're there, send a f***ing pre-written email. (Nice to see VCDL finally got their email alerts easily linkable a year or so ago. All the state-level orgs should do that. In my position I can't do much for the Cause but I can at least post a damn link.)

Michael G. sends: "Darn those Republican NRA members! The Other McCain looks at one horrific crime, that did not involve Republican NRA members, and how another author compares it to a different crime, also not involving Republican NRA members, then the other author concludes both crimes are the fault of Republican NRA members."

It's still not Republican NRA members doing this either.

  • On the other end of the equation, I have expressed my concern about NRA's continued support of the costumed sociopaths who enforce the "laws" NRA claims to oppose. "The Pennsylvania Game Commission will receive a $15,220 grant to acquire night vision goggles for the Woodland Tracking Team, who are frequently deployed to search for lost or missing hunters and hikers." Which will instead be used for other purposes. "The Swatara Township Police Department will receive a $10,000 grant to support their newly approved K-9 program." While they shoot children, while trying to shoot family dogs, with impunity. Police are not the good guys and it is morally wrong to support them.
  • Lest that be seen as slander, a while back a Somali immigrant somehow got a government costume and a government gun and murdered an innocent human being. Michael G. sends now, "Germany learns giving magic badge to bad guys doesn't turn them into good guys. It IS an old German tactic to use the religion of peace to do the grunt work in committing atrocities, so maybe this is deliberate rather than merely stupid. Addendum: Germany refused to hold an Iranian cleric charged with crimes against humanity and let him return to Iran." In any case, the problem has been growing for some time.
  • But that could never happen here... RIGHT?
  • "The Little Rock Police will now report some justified homicides that were not reported separately before." Why weren't they? What have they been hiding?
  • "A Marine is behind bars for defending himself and his family from an armed thug." "Protect and Serve" WHO?
  • "Nearly every examiner in an elite FBI forensic unit gave flawed testimony in almost all trials... over more than a two-decade period" but tell us again to "work within the system".

    Don't Go to College....

    "Tolerant" and "Inclusive" OR ELSE.

"Look at the Dominican Republic. Same island, same natural resources, same brown people as the left disparagingly calls them, doing way better than Haiti."

White president wants to 'confiscate black farms without compensation'OH. WAIT.

Speaking of s***hole countries, it takes one to make a Kalashnikov that doesn't work.

    To Society!

Michael G. sends "More entertainment rot: East Coast Comic Con organizer bans Kevin Sorbo from attending, not for anything he has done but because he is friendly to Hannity. Ignore the fact that he starred in two of the most successful genre TV shows, one fantasy one sci-fi, if he dares be friendly to people we hate he must be shunned. How long before Shatner is banned because he played a conservative on Boston Law, or a cop on T J Hooker?" With more of the same in the sidebar. They hate people for not hating people, while they call for an end to hating people. 'The "racist or bullying" behavior was not explained and no evidence that it occurred was presented.' What happens when the entertainment industry alienates all their customers? (Sigh, all the Star Wars analysis videos on YouTube, blinders-wearing fans desperately scrambling to fabricate justifications for why The Last Jedi isn't crap....)

Then, "Harvard professors, masters of projection. Harvard professors say President Trump exhibits the four signs of an authoritarian. '1. The leader shows only a weak commitment to democratic rules. 2. He or she denies the legitimacy of opponents. 3. He or she tolerates violence. 4. He or she shows some willingness to curb civil liberties or the media.' Funny, that seems to be a better description of a President whose initials were B and O. Or of the ongoing activities of the left."

Speaking of mental illness, "global" "warming" cultists gonna cult.

Speaking of unquestioning faith in a cult fantasy, tell me for the thousandth time how "real socialism has never been tried".

Some miles from the hovel, in a separately-defined "city" of the urban sprawl, there used to be a great big Fred Meyer (Kroger-related) supermarket. The way I heard it, it was literally driven out of business once the illegal immigrants moved into the area and shoplifted the place to economic death. And that also is why I hate buying groceries anymore.

Yeah, so, some fumble-fingered flunky in Hawaii "pushed the wrong button" and how is that Trump's fault? My bet - unprovable - is it was a deliberate, partisan act to fabricate something to blame on Trump.

That Vegas massacre still isn't adding up either. "The narrative fell apart so quickly it had to be shut down in order to construct a new one."

  • Looks like our troops in those s***holes are safer there than at home too. "Yes, you read that correctly. The Wayne County jail guards are refusing to follow a judge’s orders and are denying Joseph Nelson his right to an attorney." If police come to your door, why wouldn't any rational person, possessed of logic and common sense, just start shooting?
  • As for the system they keep telling us to "work within", Michael G. observes, "The WaPo runs a thoughtful piece like this, then turns around and blasts anyone who stands up to Federal charges against them, and any supporters."

    The World Sucks

    Massive Vote Fraud....

Years ago I wrote "...[G]overnment supplies rotting in warehouses, government funds evaporating under corruption and graft, the needy never getting a fraction of it, except when news cameras were present...." More recently were reports of that very thing happening in Puerto Rico. Michael G. sends actual hard proof that government really does poison everything it touches. And how is that Trump's fault?

Speaking of Trump and s***holes, Tom Kratman, one of my favorite authors, in his M-Day series, drawing from his experiences as a US Army officer, had characters - based directly on men he served with - finding themselves in Africa. One, who was black, said, "Thank God my great-granddaddy got dragged onto that boat." (In the Sunday chatroom, one of the handful of regulars is also on active duty in the Army, and attests that he has heard that exact phrase from men he serves with. It's a widespread experience.)

"Facebook, in cooperation with a British Muslim group, Faith Associates, recently launched a new 'guide' developed especially for Muslims: 'Keeping Muslims Safe Online: Tackling Hate and Bigotry'."

But claiming there's some kind of agenda is "Islamophobic" and "racist".

To which dot connect oh look yet another FAKE HATE CRIME because there aren't enough real ones.

But keep telling me how immigrants contribute to society.

They really do fantasize about reprogramming our minds. Because they really don't see us as human beings.

To which dot connect burn the government schools.

I keep saying that. Lest my readers think it an extreme position, let me inform you that, in their own words, they really would rather let your children be brutally murdered than allow them to defend themselves or each other.

And the colleges too, where skin color matters more than professional qualifications.

  • So there's all these reports of sexual predation in the entertainment industry and Michael G. wonders, "What are the odds that hand sign was used opportunistically in order to frisk an attractive college coed?" Think about the kind of people who want to be security screeners.
  • Tell me again how "law enforcement supports the Second Amendment".

Michael G. sends, "Punch back twice as hard. Hit them in their pocketbook." Now this is not wholly Lighter News because the city will just order their police to write more tickets and rob more innocent people at government gunpoint, but I guess we can't just hang the bastards yet....

In truly Lighter News, though, two corporations are racing each other back to manned spaceflight. Faster, please.

The Prophet Heinlein postulated the "Shipstone", a high-capacity battery, as a grossly simplified explanation. Michael G. sends, working on it. "Of course even if it works you need to produce energy before you can store it." But as I noted just the other day, that's being worked on too.

Many times in these pages I've said that prohibition proves itself the greater evil. It was a plot point in a JPFO novel some years ago. AND IT'S TRUE.

Looks like a battle won in Virginia.

Years ago John Ringo wrote a novel exploring the cultural divide between urban and rural populations, which ended with bloody civil war and outright genocide. But that was just a story... RIGHT?

Codrea connects dots between the fake missile alert and the anti-self-defense perverts.

    And then this happens.

    The Quislings of Fairfax....

Hey... what if terrorism really is what immigrants contribute to society?

And the few domestic ones we have, well, I've already observed where they come from.

You know, I think I've said here a couple times, next to America, everywhere is the Third World, and the world keeps proving me right.

And not every part of America is American.

Foreign Correspondent Jacob N., Trapped in New York, sends: "Not clear on the concept: The Trump tax cuts punish high tax blue states by limiting the deductibility of state taxes. (It actually doesn’t hurt me, because by increasing the standard deduction for married people, I still come out ahead, as do most people who live outside of NYC....) But NY’s genius governor wants to offset the impact of this by... making new taxes!
"The obvious solution, cutting taxes and spending, never seems to have crossed anyone’s mind.
"And, no doubt, this moron will get re-elected handily in the fall, just like Comrade Warren Wilhelm, I mean Bill DeBlasio, despite being hated by just about everyone.
"As you say often, I’m getting that walls-closing-in feeling, and there’s no handy droid to shut down the masher."

Okay, so, the entertainment industry is infested with serial rapists and actual acts of treason, Star Wars is being ruined, Star Trek and Doctor Who already have been, the Hugo Award has become as meaningless as the Oscar, and now Colt revolvers don't even look like Colts anymore. Looks like someone dropped it and bent the trigger guard. Fer cryin' out loud.

    Which segues to, new meme:

  • 'The proferred “solutions” always involve more rules and laws that restrict the rights of people who didn’t do it.' Now think about the costumed sociopaths who unquestioningly enforce those "laws".
  • For further example, Michael G. sends an update on the United States Marine being railroaded by his "protectors" for the crime of protecting himself and his family.
  • Gun Control Success Story!

only pays in increments of $100.
Which reminds me, years ago someone sent me $20 through GunPal,
    an allegedely pro-gun PayPal alternative.
That never came through either, before GunPal evaporated.
This is how my world works.

I intend to vote for Adam Kraut for NRA Board of Directors, unless someone gives me a real good reason not to. Marion Hammer's reasons are not good.

In this horrible place, Portland activist finds himself snared in #MeToo movement. Brainwashing people to hate, inciting them to violence, praising them for destroying the targets of their bigorty, what did he think would happen? On the other hand, maybe the Left really is little else but serial rapists who like to hurt people. Which description fits their policy platforms also.

What if DACA-age immigrants really are more likely to commit violent crimes? And how does that make me "racist"?

Which segues to, some time ago was this item about Islamists infiltrating police and military forces in the place where Europe used to be. Michael G. now sends: "Did you get the Daily Caller article on the penetration of Congress by Pakistani IT workers? The report says that it looks a lot more like an operation by a foreign intelligence agency than a simple crime. Even if it is simple crime, it would be the kind perpetrated by a large crime organization."

Then, "Surprise! Muslims fear backlash from hate hoax! Maybe if they genuinely feared a backlash, they wouldn't commit hate hoaxes... and the other s*** followers of the religion of peace get up to."

Foreign Correspondent Jacob N., Trapped in New York, sends: "More from the 'not clear on the concept' file. The NY Slimes here manages to blame guns!!!!, distrust of the police, police inaction, and poverty for the societal breakdown in Baltimore.
"Let’s consider this in more detail. Maryland has highly restrictive gun laws. Couple this with the mention in the article that most murders in Baltimore are carried out by individuals with extensive prior criminal records, and the logical conclusion is that at the time those guns murdered people, they were being held by people who legally shouldn’t have been holding them.
"This feeds right into the next two items on The Slimes' list, distrust for and inaction by the police. Spend years screaming that the police are abusing you, that the reason that little Jimmy’s (age 17) been arrested for 37 violent felonies since age 12 is because the cops are racist, that you’re going to f#%£ up the next cop you see, rioting in the streets, et al, and there’s inevitably going to be a result. And the end result was that the cops just walked away. Now, the revolving door legal system, the culture that glorifies thug lifestyle and violence, and their own actions have come back to bite them, and they cry 'why aren’t the police doing something?!?' Well, you can’t have it both ways.
"Consider poverty. I live in one of the poorest counties in New York State, yet crime here is very low. This is true of many places around the country, poverty does not automatically lead to high crime. Others have discussed this in detail.
"So in the end, they manage to miss the obvious, that a culture that glorifies violence, encourages dependence, and an ineffective legal system that allows recidivist criminals to walk free, in short, the progressive dream, leads to societal breakdown."

    And as if on cue.

Yeah, it's still not Republican NRA members doing this either.

  • "No Bill of Attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed"OH. WAIT.
  • When I see a cop, I see a monster who can shoot a kneeling man with his hands up in the back of the head and keep his job. The color doesn't matter. Think about the kind of creature who can do such a thing to ANY human being.
  • I also see "A Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputy and three alleged accomplices stand accused of running a vast drug trafficking conspiracy in which they would provide security services to narcotics dealers in exchange for cash."
  • So half a year ago a Somali immigrant in a government costume with a government gun murdered an innocent woman in Minneapolis. Comes now, the first Somali police officer in Maine is arrested for assault and battery among other charges. Go back and read that S***HOLES link again, thoroughly. They are not like us. Our culture is superior to theirs. It's not "racist" if it's true.

...[W]e’re making changes to address the issues that affected our community
in 2017 so we can prevent bad actors from harming the inspiring and original
creators around the world who make their living on YouTube.
A big part of that effort will be strengthening our requirements for

Or as blogbrother SMLE Fan has observed, that's not a bug, it's a feature.

Some months ago I asked, "You ever notice how 'feminists', who talk about 'empowering' women, can't stand the idea of a woman using a gun to defend herself from a rapist?"

I also pondered people who won't do their part.

"Adults were mandated to be powerless to protect their charges." Think about that.

"Treason against the United States shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort."

A case could be made that massive vote fraud fits that description too.

Which segues to Immigrants Contributing to Society....

Which segues to, Michael G. sends "A portrait of the suicide of Norway. To be honest, it was a murder-suicide. The 'elites' of society insist on suicide and when ordinary people protest they are made to go first."

To which dot connect, "Notice all the leaders in favor of keeping the Muslim invaders out are from countries that were once behind the Iron Curtain."

"...[W]hites alone [are] being warned away from embracing racial identity." And the rot in the entertainment industry continues to spread....

Slander from the usual sources and blood libel in Vegas. Riiiiiight, SHOT Show is some seeeeecret conpiiiiiiiiiiracy that gets plastered all over social media and YouTube and even old-fashioned amplitude modulation every single year.

  • But if it's secret conspiracies you want to talk about, what's the FBI's motto?
  • Sooooo, the latte-sipping elitists want More Government to Save the Environment. In Africa a while back they got lion hunting banned, and their precious government exterminated their precious lions because there was no more economic benefit to having them around. Comes now, the Bureau of Land Management - the same bunch that almost started a shooting war over some cows eating some grass - want to go kill a bunch of wild horses. And the elitists close their eyes, stick their fingers in their ears, hum real loud, and blame it all, somehow, on Donald Trump and the NRA....
  • Aaaaaand meat tax. Who collects that? What's it spent on?
  • Tell me again how "law enforcement supports the Second Amendment".
  • What comically-absurd "law"....

In the news, The Last Jedi receives four Oscar nominations. And that's all I need to know about the Oscars.

Speaking of news, the biggest source of fake news is the news.

Immigrants contributing psychotic disconnects to society....

Michael G. sends, "That old Leftie Dr. Seuss understood what 'Dreamers' really meant, all the way back in 1948. I wonder how fast Wikipedia will edit this page to meaninglessness if it starts to get a lot of attention." Which is why I'm also providing the Infogalactic link.

Looky, I believe in the concept of rehabilitation, and in Codrea's Law and its inverse, but I'm getting tired of working next to people covered in prison tattoos.

Genocidal dictator Joseph Stalin is reputed to have said, "He who votes counts for nothing. He who counts the votes counts for everything."

"Mancos school board backs away from arming school staff." "And now everyone in the area knows." Think about that the next time you send your child to the government schools.

So the other day was some racist article about how the fictional African country of Wakanda, from the Marvel Comics universe, is "what Africa would have been if the whites hadn't ruined it." Okay, well, in South Africa, whites are now an oppressed minority and the blacks are in charge and how's that working out for everyone? And how does that make me "racist"?

Just the other day I was repeating blogbrother SMLE Fan's observation that constitutional checks and balances and restrictions on government power are not bugs, but features.

  • "The new law requires social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, to censor their users on behalf of the German state."

Back here a gay, black, openly racist, openly biased Obama-supporting TV reporter murdered innocent human beings. Michael G. now observes: "Kentucky school murderer is son of reporter. Not enough information in this article to identify her and check her work for bias, but something to keep an eye on." This one identifies the murderer as Gabe Parker, son of Mary Garrison Minyard, editor of Marshall County Daily Online. Nothing leaping out at me there, and even Wikipedia is saying the county has turned considerably to the right in the last several elections.

Blogbrother SMLE Fan observes immature technologies. There's still some debate about how, or whether, the tax-paid subsidies for the Tesla were paid back. Elon is not one of Our Kind. We're just really fond of his other products.

SMLE Fan then connects dots between evolution and "global" "warming". Fossil evidence dismissed as "Zionist plot" in 3, 2, 1....

Sweden has most of the civilian-disarmament policies the anti-self-defense perverts want to enact here. Sweden has a high rate of immigration, which the same perverts also want. Sweden is also a welfare state, with high taxes on the productive class propping up a large population who won't work, again just as those same perverts want implemented in America. This is how that's working out. It's not paranoia. It's not "Islamophobia". It's not "racism". THE EXPERIMENT HAS BEEN PERFORMED AND THE RESULTS CAN BE CLEARLY SEEN.

    Which segues to:

  • Gun Control Success Story! And tell me again about the moral equivalence of different cultures.
  • Almost four months and the official story on the Vegas massacre still keeps changing. What if it's not a paranoid conspiracy theory?
  • What if creatures really do want to become "law" enforcement officers because they really are back-shooting murderers? Seriously, if, in the darkest corners of your shriveled and poisonous heart, you long to become a serial killer, become a cop and get paid for doing it.

The rot in the entertainment industry continues to spread. “Sorry, your factually accurate and incredibly well-made historical epic won’t be considered for best picture because you didn’t cast John Boyega in the role of a poor serf in 12th century Britain :(”

Likewise the rot on campus, on which Michael G. sends: "Free speech is white supremacy, according to Evergreen State lecture, so when they censor anyone who disagrees with them they are protecting free speech."

"President Reagan’s biggest regret as president was... trusting Congress...."

And this is why that matters.

Back here I was reminded of a major supermarket being shoplifted out of business. Nobody wants to talk about who is doing that. Hint: It still isn't Republican NRA members.

And remember, peasant, you're not paying "your" "fair" "share".

'Nadine el Enany, the first signatory of the appeal against the United States' so-called "Muslim ban", is one of the signers of the appeal to boycott her Israeli academic colleagues.' And that's all I need to know about college.

To which Michael G. connects, "Pomona College 'Intro to Statistics' will teach social justice. It makes sense. We've already got social justice lies, and social justice damn lies, so what else is left?"

Oh look, another act of vehicular terrorism. "The driver’s identity is also being withheld." That pretty much guarantees it's not a Republican NRA member.

Which segues to even more Immigrants Contributing to Society. It has been observed that people from other cultures are not like us and their ways of life are not compatible with ours. It's not "racist" if it's true.

  • But who are the authorities looking at instead?
  • Remember, peasant, only police can be trusted with guns.
  • Remember, peasant, work within their system.
  • Think about the kind of people...
  • ...who don't trust you to defend yourself.
  • I tell you again, they like to hurt people and that's why they become cops.
  • Foreign Correspondent Jacob N., Trapped in New York, sends: "Oh, look! Another poorly thought out, hastily conceived law that is already causing unintended consequences. I predict that Lithuania’s war on alcohol will be just as successful as ours was. It’s like nobody ever pays attention to History."
  • Did DOJ and FBI officials commit federal crimes to take down Trump? Who would we get to investigate that?
  • "That she lawfully owned her gun in Colorado and that she tried to obey the federal law by declaring her firearm with TSA does not matter to those intent on making her pay." "PROTECT AND SERVE" WHO?

Caught some of the State of the Union last night. I'm part libertarian and part nationalist, so I was simultaneously excited and terrified by what I saw and heard - often by the same word in the same sentence. On the gripping hand, still not Hillary. Because her kind really do hate us and want us to die.

Not for the first time I observe Immigrants Contributing Deadly Diseases Civilized Nations Have Exterminated to Society.

  • Gun Control Success Story stopped by an NRA member AND HOW EXACTLY IS THAT THE NRA'S FAULT OR MINE?
  • What if the Vegas massacre is still not a paranoid conspiracy theory?
  • Michael G. sends, "Campus cops told to stand down again, this time in Canada. They have to stay 'neutral' and if they stopped a group interfering with another group's speech, that might be perceived as 'endorsing' the second group." What order would you not obey?
  • "Stay away from law enforcement, as they are the most dangerous people on the road or in neighborhoods."
  • And at the end of their shift they take off their uniforms and stand in line with us at the supermarket and pretend to be human beings....

CMP 1911s aren't really exciting me - I'm not that kind of collector, and everyone is making new 1911s, some of the Philippine offerings being quite decent at under $500. Nobody's making new Garands at any price though, which is why mine was such a big deal.

In my fictional future history I postulate partial cloning to regenerate lost or damaged limbs or organs, which is a thing some life forms right here on Terra are actually capable of - as mentioned in what Michael G. sends: "Pocket sized DNA reader. This could be used for good, or used for bad, most likely used for both. But it certainly is interesting."

    Likewise, robot butlers. Getting there.
